Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Biscuit Maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food production, with an emphasis on creating high-quality biscuits that meet our standards for taste and presentation. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of biscuits according to established recipes and quality standards.
Ensure all ingredients are measured accurately and prepared in advance for efficient production.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
Package finished products for sale or distribution, ensuring they are presented attractively.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Assist in cake decorating and other pastry tasks as needed, showcasing versatility within the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
Uphold food handling standards to ensure the safety and quality of all products served.
Experience
Proven experience in food production or preparation, particularly in baking or pastry roles.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within the culinary industry.
Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques are advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with team members and customers alike.
