Brake Press OperatorTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Brake Press Operators for projects located in the Fall River, WI area. This is a third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Brake Press Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Read and interpret blueprintsCalculate bend allowances for various material types and thicknessesSelect proper punch and die toolingSets-up adjusts and operates brake press to perform a wide variety of operations on a diversified line of workSets-up adjusts and operates brake press to run prototype jobs and new parts ordersWrite set-up sheets and understands advanced programming functionsInspect parts using precision measuring equipment and documents inspection dataClean and organize work areaOther duties may be assignedRequirements:One-year college/technical certificate or 5 years related experience/training with a high school diploma/GED or an equivalent mix of education and experienceAbility to read and understand basic instructions, memos, manuals, and proceduresAbility to write simple correspondenceAbility to clearly communicate information one-on-one or in small groupsBasic math skills including working with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and calculating rates, ratios, and percentagesAbility to apply common-sense understanding to follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions and solve routine problems with concrete variablesAll PPEBe safe from fraud!
