Job DescriptionCircle Logistics is hiring an experienced Business Development Representative to generate new business, build customer relationships, and grow a profitable book of business.
This is a fully remote, mid-level sales opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of direct freight brokerage experience. This requirement is non-negotiable.
You’ll have the freedom to develop your own customer base and completely run your own book. Successful representatives will have the opportunity to advance into management and potentially open and lead a Circle Logistics branch in their market.
What You’ll Do
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and relationship development
• Connect with shippers to understand their transportation needs and challenges
• Build, develop, and maintain a profitable book of business
• Provide customized transportation solutions and competitive pricing
• Manage customer communication and help resolve service-related issues
• Coordinate daily shipments and support Circle Logistics’ “No-Fail Service” commitment
• Collaborate with pricing, operations, and carrier teams to execute customer solutions
• Monitor freight market trends and provide customers with proactive recommendations
• Maintain accurate sales activity, customer information, and pipeline updates within the CRM
• Create long-term partnerships that support continued revenue and margin growth
What You’ll Need
• At least 2 years of direct freight brokerage experience
• Previous freight sales, business development, or customer account growth experience
• Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships, and generate new business
• Working knowledge of freight pricing, transportation markets, and brokerage operations
• Experience using TMS and CRM platforms
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and remain accountable in a fully remote environment
• Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Competitive mindset with a strong sense of urgency and ownership
• Willingness to occasionally assist customers after hours or on weekends when needed
