Job description

Ekimetrics is a global leader in Marketing & Commercial effectiveness and AI‑powered solutions. Since 2006, we’ve helped businesses optimize marketing and operations by combining AI with business and tech expertise across four domains: Marketing & commercial effectiveness, Customer analytics, Operational excellence, and ESG & sustainability. With a full in‑house team and offices in Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, we deliver tailor‑made solutions that turn data into real positive impact, leveraging our unique combination of technology and services.

Responsibilities

As a Business Scientist at Ekimetrics, you will work on complex analytics projects for international blue‑chip clients across diverse industries, delivering bespoke solutions and high‑impact insights to senior executives. Your role will focus on Marketing Science, particularly the deployment of our Marketing Mix Optimization (MMO) offering through analytics services while maximizing client value and impact. Working in teams of 3 to 6 across 1 to 3 projects simultaneously, you will be involved from discovery and data exploration to statistical modeling and translating insights into clear, strategic recommendations. You will continuously grow technical expertise and business acumen, with opportunities to take on operational leadership on client engagements and collaborate closely with Managers and Partners.

Data Analysis & Modeling Autonomy

Independently apply statistical techniques and best data practices to progress project work end‑to‑end.

Build and validate models (e.g., regression, econometrics, Bayesian approaches) while ensuring data quality and robustness.

Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights by combining data with business and industry context.

Take ownership of analytical problem‑solving, from data preparation to insight generation.

Client Partnership & Business Impact

Autonomously engage with clients on a day‑to‑day basis to deeply understand their business context and objectives.

Parameterise business questions into analytical problem statements and deliver ad‑hoc analyses to advance projects.

Confidently present findings and “battle plans” alongside the team, contributing to decision‑making and client trust.

Act as a reliable point of contact on defined workstreams, ensuring quality, rigor, and relevance.

Growth, Ownership & Ekimetrics Life

Proactively contribute to Ekimetrics’ growth through initiatives such as Thought Leadership, Knowledge Management, Recruitment, or Culture & Diversity.

Support the development of data engineering and architecture capabilities within the office as skills mature.

Continuously develop technical and business expertise through hands‑on learning and formal training.

Live and promote Ekimetrics’ values: Curiosity, Creativity, Excellence, Generosity, and Enjoyment.

Your Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, economics, operations research, or MBA) with 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, modeling, advanced analytics, or econometrics in a business or consulting environment.

Strong passion for data, deep knowledge of statistics or applied mathematics, and hands‑on experience applying advanced methodologies (e.g., regression analysis) to solve business problems using tools such as Python or R.

Hands‑on experience with MMM/O and strong understanding of marketing measurement.

Excellent communication abilities, particularly in translating complex technical analyses into clear, actionable insights and compelling stories for diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated team‑oriented mindset, management experience, and the ability to develop talent, build high‑performing teams, and manage projects with strong delivery discipline.

Proven ability to build lasting client relationships across industries, enthusiasm for joining a growing firm, and a desire to contribute to business growth.
