Join us and help shape the future of national security.GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:A CAD Designer specializes in creating precise technical drawings and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The Designer translates conceptual designs, engineering specifications, and sketches into detailed 3D models and 2D drawings essential for manufacturing, construction, and product development. They ensure that designs are accurate, compliant with industry standards, and ready for production or implementation. They bridge the gap between concepts and the final drawings needed to build or produce our products.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Create and revise detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models based on engineering requirements, specifications, and design concepts.Ensure drawings and models are accurate, complete, compliant with applicable standards, and ready for manufacturing or implementation.Partner closely with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and incorporate design changes.Maintain organized design documentation and handle sensitive information in accordance with government and company requirements.Support or oversee the CAD design process for smaller projects, or defined portions of larger projects, to help ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives.BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance CoverageLife/ADD & Short/Long Term Disability Insurance401(k) Savings PlanEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Paid Time-Off (PTO)HolidaysEducation Reimbursement
