Ship FitterLabor One is currently hiring ship fitters in San Diego, CA at a shipyard. Up to $26 + $160 per diem, if eligible.Job requirements:Three years of experience in shipyardShip fitter knowledge: welding, tacking, burning and scarfingMust pass the following ship fitter welding assessment:FCAWFillet weld plates: 2F 3F 4F (VT test)T Bar 12X4" 3/8" thick: 2F 3F 4F (VT and fracture test)Must comprehend written and verbal instructions (in English)Must be able to hear warning signals, read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations and warningsMust pass a background check, vision test and drug testMust be able to work any shift and overtimeShipyard experience is required.
