This is a full-time, long-term position in which the ideal candidate will realize increased opportunity and added responsibility as experience is gained.
Candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to think independently and recommend solutions as needed. We require a high degree of professionalism and customer service with excellent communication skills. As well, candidates must be able to maintain a high level of discretion and integrity with confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advanced technical support for Canon hardware, networking, scanning, printing, and software solutions.
* Serve as the primary escalation point for technicians requiring assistance with complex service issues.
* Support field technicians through remote assistance, troubleshooting, training, and onsite backup when required.
* Assist in balancing service workloads when needed to ensure customer issues are addressed in a timely manner.
* Perform remote and onsite support for network connected devices, which includes but is not limited to Canon Controller based systems, Fiery, Prisma, Uniflow.
* Configure, troubleshoot, and support Microsoft 365 integrations, scan workflows, authentication methods, and network connectivity through Uniflow.
* Implement, support, and maintain print management and other supported software solutions through the customers' lifecycle.
* Conduct customer consultations, technical discovery, demonstrations, and solution recommendations.
* Support software and hardware installations, upgrades, migrations, and customer training.
* Coordinate technical support with customer IT departments, manufacturers.
* Create, manage, and follow through on manufacturer and software vendor escalation cases.
* Document service activities, installations, troubleshooting steps, and customer communications.
* Maintain technical certifications, product knowledge, and industry training requirements.
* Provide exceptional customer service while promoting professional relationships with customers and internal team.
* Perform field service, maintenance, installation, and repair activities as needed to support department objectives.
* Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
