Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• AS completion required.
Requirements:
• This role will require floating to multiple locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Knowledge of aseptic technique and EKG rhythms is required. - Ability to use electronic medical records is required. - Experience with IV insertion for administration of ultrasound imaging enhancement agents and bubble studies is required.
Required Credentials: - Graduate with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited echocardiography program.
Special Requests: - All RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal; NMH may not honor RTO requests after submittal. - NMH has a strict compliance deadline of 4 pm on the Wednesday before the start date; there will be no exceptions.
Unit Details: - Works closely with the cardiologist in the assessment and treatment of cardiac diseases. - The assignment includes outpatients, off-campus sites, and inpatients. - Diagnostic ultrasound testing includes M-mode, 2D, 3D, spectral Doppler, color Doppler, tissue Doppler imaging, strain imaging, bubble studies, contrast-enhanced transthoracic echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacology stress echocardiograms, and imaging for structural heart procedures. - Assists the cardiologist with both 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiograms.
Shift & Scheduling: - Shift options are 7am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4pm, and 8am-4:30pm. - No weekend shifts. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - Must be willing to work at all Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) sites on occasion.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
