Job description
SUMMARY
Join Avel eCare as a Cardiologist and play a vital role in expanding access to expert cardiovascular care through innovative telemedicine. Partner with healthcare teams across diverse clinical settings to improve patient outcomes, support evidence-based care, and help transform healthcare delivery in communities across the country.
The Cardiologist provides virtual consultations, follow-up care, and specialized clinical expertise to patients and healthcare providers through Avel eCare’s state-of-the-art telehealth platform. This physician collaborates with multidisciplinary care teams to evaluate and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, provide timely clinical guidance, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. General Hours of Work:
Daytime hours including weekend and holidays
Hours/FTE:
PRN/1099
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide consultationsvia phone or video to partner facilities with block scheduling.
Collaborate with onsite clinical staff to coordinate care for patients.
Review patient results and make tailored recommendations.
Offerprovider-to-provider supportthrough direct consultation.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
MD or DO Degree required.
Minimum 3 years of active inpatient practical experience in Cardiology.
Telemedicine experience preferred but not required.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATION
Board certification in Cardiology.
One active state license (in any US state).
Multiple state licensures (supported by Avel eCare).
