Job Overview
Rainbow Acres is hiring Caregivers to support adults with developmental disabilities. This is a caregiver position focused on daily care, safety, independence, and quality of life in a supportive Christian environment. This role is ideal for a compassionate person seeking a Caregiver job near Camp Verde, nonprofit work, or mission-driven employment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily care and support for adults with developmental disabilities
Assist with activities of daily living
Support emotional, social, and physical well being
Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful living environment
Transport residents to appointments and off-site activities
Collaborate with healthcare, vocational, and support teams
Protect resident rights and follow all safety procedures
This is a safety sensitive caregiver position requiring strong attention to detail and accountability.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Must be 21 years or older
Ability to complete Arizona approved Certified Caregiver training; employer paid
Experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
CPR / First Aid certification; or willingness to obtain, employer paid
Food Handler’s Card: or willingness to obtain, employer paid
Strong ethics, compassion, and reliability
Alignment with a faith based Christian mission preferred
Final candidates will be required to submit to our security clearance process.
On-site training for the right candidate.
Salary Information
$17.5 - $21Hourly Wage
