Job description

UNC Health Care in Chapel Hill seeks a Medical Assistant II to support the outpatient gastroenterology clinic. The MA II works under clinical supervision, assists providers, performs rooming, intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and basic testing.

This role includes patient registration support, scheduling tests and referrals, and delivering after‑visit instructions. A Medical Assistant certification and CPR are required; one year of clinical experience preferred.
