nWhat You'll Do

nAs a Certified Medication Aide, you'll help create exceptional daily experiences for residents by providing compassionate care, supporting independence, and delivering personalized service through The Sterling Touch®. Whether assisting with activities of daily living, supporting wellness initiatives, helping with medication administration, working in Luminations® (memory care), or simply being a trusted companion, you'll make a meaningful difference every day.

nIn this role, you will:

nnnAssist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, eating, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, communication, and toileting

n

nnSupport residents in accordance with their personalized care plans while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being

n

nnAdminister medications safely and accurately within your certification and scope of practice

n

nnProvide medication assistance in accordance with state regulations and community policies when appropriately licensed and assigned

n

nnObserve residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team

n

nnBuild meaningful relationships with residents and families while creating a warm, engaging atmosphere

n

nnParticipate in community activities, wellness programs, dining experiences, and special events

n

nnWork collaboratively with Health & Wellness, Culinary, Lifestyle, and Hospitality teams to deliver an exceptional resident experience

n

nnEsure exceptional documentation is submitted for all services provided or declined

n

nnDeliver care that is professional, respectful, timely and personalized

n

nnHelp create an environment where every resident feels valued and cared for

n

n nWhat You Bring

nWe're looking for individuals who are passionate about service, hospitality, and senior care. Preferred qualifications include:

nnnHigh School Diploma or GED, required

n

nnCertified Medication Aide (CMA) or Medication Technician credentials, required as applicable by state and assignment

n

nnOne or more years of experience administering medication, highly preferred

n

nnOne or more years of experience providing assistance with activities of daily living, highly preferred

n

nnOne or more years of experience working with seniors, highly preferred

n

nnStrong communication and interpersonal skills

n

nnA positive attitude and genuine desire to enhance the lives of others

n

nnAbility to read, write, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with residents, guests, supervisors, and team members

n

nnAbility to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and remain active throughout the shift

n

nnAbility to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
