nJob Description:
nNEW HIRE SIGN-ON BONUS ELGIBLE UP TO $10,000. THREE 12-HOUR NIGHTS.
nnnPerforms treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
n
nnFunctions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
n
nnParticipates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.
n
nnFollows prescribed isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of protective equipment, performs handwashing according to policy, and enforces safety regulations.
n
nnExhibits a desire to learn and upgrades skills continuously.
n
nnCommunicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
n
nnMaintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
n
nnAssists in the delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse.
n
nnDocuments and reports all procedures in accordance with department policy.
n
nnParticipates in obtaining a nursing history and reports abnormalities to the registered nurse.

nnAssists in identifying patient needs

nnPerforms other duties as assigned.

nnHigh School Grad or Equiv (Required)
n nField of Study:

n nWork Experience:
nnn1+ applicable PCT experience (Preferred)
n
nnPrevious bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical experience (Preferred)

nnnBasic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)

nnCertified Nurse Assistant (CNA) (Required) OR NHA Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) (Required) OR NCCT Patient Care Technician (NCPCT) (Required) OR AMCA Patient Care Technician Certification (PCT-C) (Required)
