Job description
Georgia College & State University seeks a chair of the Department of Biological & Environmental Sciences. The role is a 12-month on-campus appointment reporting to the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.
The chair leads the department, manages budgets, personnel, and facilities, and guides curriculum development and scholarly activity. The chair supervises faculty and staff, conducts annual performance evaluations, and collaborates to recruit, mentor, and advise students and colleagues.
