Job description
An opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support an outpatient pharmacy setting. This contract role offers engagement for 13 weeks, starting mid-July, with variable shifts primarily scheduled between 8 AM and 5 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify, fill, and accurately check prescriptions to ensure patient safety.
Provide guidance and oversight to pharmacy technicians during daily operations.
Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and best practices.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care.
Qualifications and Experience: Active Arizona pharmacist license is required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
Strong knowledge of outpatient pharmacy procedures and regulations.
Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
Location: The role is based in Chloride, Arizona, offering an opportunity to work within a regional medical facility's outpatient pharmacy.
Schedule: Variable shifts between 8 AM and 8 PM, with the majority between 8 AM and 5 PM.
