CNC Machine Operator-2nd ShiftShift - SecondFull-Time/Part-Time - Full-TimeJob Functions:Set and operate machines to make machine parts to specifications using machine milling machinesMeasure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometersAlign and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machinesMonitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining processLay out, measure, and mark metal stock to display placement of cutsCheck work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooledOperate equipment to verify operational efficiencyConfer with supervisor, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical informationDispose of scrap or waste material in accordance with company policies and environmental regulationsSeparate scrap waste and related materials for reuse, recycling, or disposalCalculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipersSet up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operationsMaintain machine tools in proper operational conditionPerforms other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLCPosition Requirements - Skills Required:Excellent attendance recordProblem Solving SkillsTooling CoordinationAttention to DetailMechanical and Technical SkillsEducation and Experience Required:High School diploma or equivalentExperience in set-up and operation of 3 or 5-Axis Machines, preferredAbout the Organization:Harlow Aerostructures LLC is a leading supplier of complex machined components, electro-mechanical and structural subassemblies to the commercial, business and military aerospace industry as well as being certified as an FAA Repair Station by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
