Job description
MachinistJoin our client, a precision manufacturer, as a key contributor to their team. You'll set up and operate CNC machines to produce intricate tooling components. Your expertise ensures quality and efficiency in production.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, adjust, and operate CNC machine tools for complex parts.Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Review programs offline and perform metrology inspections.Troubleshoot issues and monitor multiple machines for efficiency.Collaborate with minimal supervision to meet quality and production targets.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (technical certificate preferred).3 years of experience in precision CNC machining, including mills and lathes.Ability to read blueprints and CNC G-Code (Fanuc, Siemens, or similar controls preferred).Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Two-year technical degree, journeyman's card, or equivalent military technical experience preferred.CAD/CAM and advanced G-Code programming knowledge preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.Stand/walk for extended periods.Work EnvironmentAvailability to work off-shift schedules.At Talent Wave Associates, we connect outstanding talent with exceptional opportunities.
