CNC MachinistDAYTON LAMINA™ is an international manufacturing company with approximately 1,100 employees and $200 million annual sales. We are the worldwide industry leader in the production of catalog and special metal forming tools.Summary:CNC Machinists will be required to set-up and operate CNC machines to manufacture custom-ordered tool and die components. No programming experience is required. Machinists will be required to work five 8-hours shifts with possible OT on weekends.Responsibilities:Performs variety of production functions, including but not limited to:Responsible for setting up and operating various computer numerically controlled machines to perform machining operations.Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls required.Works with engineers, production personnel, programmers or others to resolve machining problems and product issues.Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specificationsPerforms other duties as assigned.Qualifications:· High School Diploma or GED.· Must be 18 years or older.· Minimum of 1 year experience on CNC mills or lathes.· Must be familiar with and be able to use precision measuring equipment.Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
