CNC Machinist Job SummaryA local company that builds hydraulic manifolds is seeking a CNC Machinist to their growing team. The CNC Machinist will assist in the manufacturing process of high quality, custom manifolds.CNC Machinist ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines to produce custom metal manifolds according to specificationsUse calipers, micrometers, and gauges to measure and inspect parts for accuracy and qualityRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work ordersMonitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal operationMaintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety policies and proceduresCollaborate with team members to ensure production goals and deadlines are metPerform routine maintenance on machinery and report any issues to the supervisorCNC Machinist QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience with metalProficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesStrong math and measuring skills, with the ability to read technical drawingsAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shiftExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a small teamSchedule & Pay1st shift, 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday; overtime could run as late as 4:30pm and may include occasional Saturdays$30/HR+BOELocationGrand Rapids, MIPosition TypeFull-time, Evaluation Hire
