CNC Machinist IIIOur core competencies include systems engineering, program management, logistics, production support, aircraft maintenance, and aviation/aerospace services. We know defense and we know aircraft systems.The CNC Machinist III is a senior technical expert, troubleshooter, advanced, highly skilled manufacturing professional responsible for complex setups, precision operations, and mentoring Level I and Level II machinists, working autonomously and leads projects.Essential Job Duties:Ability to coach, mentor, and train Machinist Level I and Level II personnel on shop floor best practices.Edits/offsets programs at the machines, to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, tooling, or programming issues in real time.Must independently execute tooling selection, work holding solutions, fixtures, and offsets for multi-axis mills and lathes.Deep familiarity with GD&T, blueprint reading, CAD/CAM software, and advanced metrology.Assist in first piece buyoff, inspecting parts using advanced measuring tools and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications.Schedule:M-F, 7AM-3:30PM -Central Time. Ability to work after hours during the week and weekends, as the workload requires.Note: The duties and responsibilities described on this document are not necessarily a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the teammate from time to time; and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.3–5+ years of industrial, manufacturing, warehouse experience.Strong interpretation of drawings, blueprints and GD&T.Must be a U.S citizen.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.Warehouse environment, with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and chemical systems.Reasonable AccommodationsTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
