Job description
CNC Machinist, 1st ShiftRockford, ILWe are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team in Rockford. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist who is comfortable setting up and operating CNC equipment, reading blueprints, making machine adjustments, and ensuring finished components meet quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills and CNC lathesRead and interpret blueprints, designs, and specificationsWork with preset CNC programs and formulas for mills and lathesRead and interpret CNC programs and utilize G-codeSelect appropriate tool holders and cutting tools for each jobCalculate and make necessary measurement corrections for component partsUse MDI to adjust or modify temporary programs as neededInspect first-article and in-process parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipmentPerform machine adjustments to maintain quality and production requirementsDeburr, clean, and inspect completed partsAccurately complete production and quality recordsMaintain a clean, organized workstation and shop areaFollow applicable industry and government safety standardsSkills & Experience:Education: HS Diploma requiredExperience: 5+ years of CNC machining experience required; experience working on CNC Haas machines preferredKnowledge: Ability to read and interpret blueprints requiredSoftware: Experience with Mastercam highly preferredWhat We Offer:PTO10 company-paid holidaysClimate-controlled work environment!Please Note: This role does not offer visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
