Job description
CNC Programmer / Operator (Haas Lathe & VMC)Requirements and responsibilities:Program, set up, operate and maintain CNC lathes & CNC vertical machining centers (Haas, etc)Minimum five (5) years experience (REQUIRED)Expert knowledge of G- & M-codes (manual programming)CAM software experience helpful (Mastercam, GibbsCAM, etc.)Complete programming and setup directly from drawing, comprehension of detailed drawings, attention to detailAbility to use and understand various measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc), GD&T and SPC methodsExcellent ability working and communicating well with others (team mentality)Follow specific work, process, safety instructions and proceduresCompleting control charts, process paperworkExcellent problem-solving ability and attention to detailExhibit strong work ethic and attendance recordWorking within other departments may be required (screw machine, secondary operations)Material handling, cleaning of finished parts (able to lift 40#)Day shift, 40 hour work week, 4 x 10 hour days.
