We're growing our coaching team and looking for Coaches who bring passion, energy, and a genuine love for working with kids.

About the Role
KidStrong Coach — Staten Island Location: 2807 Richmond Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314 Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)
As a KidStrong Coach, you'll lead fun, science-based classes for children from walking age through 11 years old — building brainpower, physical skills, and character on the blue floor every single day. This isn't babysitting and it isn't a typical gym job. It's coaching that changes how kids see themselves.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Coach classes across all age groups (walking through 11) using our evolving Brain, Physical, and Character curriculum
Earn your Coach Certification through our HQ training program — we invest in you from day one
Create high-energy, positive experiences for kids and families before, during, and after every class
Run school-break camps and support special events including movie nights and birthday parties
Build genuine relationships with KidStrong families — our philosophy: families don't leave KidStrong
Support community outreach, local events, and tabling as we grow our presence on Staten Island
Maintain a center you're proud of through daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and upkeep
Qualifications
Self-starter, 18+ years of age
Required Skills
Who You Are
Passionate about working with kids — this one is non-negotiable
Background in athletics, coaching, teaching, or child development (pediatric OT/PT experience is a major plus)
High energy with a commanding, engaging presence
Confident communicating with parents about their child's progress and our curriculum
CPR certified — or willing to certify before your start date
Physically ready to move — you'll be on your feet, lifting up to 25 lbs, and covering serious ground every shift

Preferred Skills

Pay range and compensation package
