Construction General Laborer (Overnight Shift)
Job Description
Join a growing construction team supporting commercial and retail build-out projects. This overnight role involves rough carpentry, tape and spackle work, cabinet assembly, fixture installation, material handling, and general site support.
Key Responsibilities Perform general labor on commercial construction projects.
Complete rough carpentry, tape and spackle work.
Install cabinetry, fixtures, and hardware.
Load, unload, and move materials and equipment.
Operate hand and power tools safely.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Follow OSHA and site safety standards.
Travel between job sites as needed.
Required Qualifications Commercial or general construction experience.
Experience with carpentry, tape and spackle, cabinetry, and fixture installation.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
OSHA 30 and SST 10 certifications required.
Reliable transportation.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of New Hyde Park, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
