Pay Rate: $2560 weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week ( Includes Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Shift timings: 9 Hours; Days, 8.00 am to 5.30 pm
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 4 x 9-hr shifts Mon-Thu, plus one 4-hr shift on Friday. No weekend or No call.
Position Requirements:
Physical Therapist experience: 1+ years - Required
Pediatrics Women's Health experience - Highly preferred
Travel contracts experience –Highly preferred
Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements:
PT License for State of MI - Required
BLS Certifications from AHA- Required
Job Description:
This position delegates responsibility tothe Physical Therapist Assistant and Aides. Activities of this position arepatient focused and utilize assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluationin accordance with physical therapy standards, physician orders, and governingpolicies and procedures.
Evaluates the patient’s function byperforming formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal,neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
Develops a goal specific treatment regimebased on assessment data and the patient’s tolerance to carry-out the treatmentplan as prescribed.
Submits a written treatment regime to beincluded as part of the plan of treatment authorized by and coordinated withthe physician. Updates plan of care as needed to reflect changes in patientstatus. Co-signs verbal orders received by physical therapist assistant asnecessary.
Devises a schedule of treatment, which isfrequency and duration specific to be discussed with patient/family/caregiverand coordinated with clinical support staff.
Educates patient, family, and/or caregiverregarding pathology or condition, patient alternatives, prognosis, andrationale for treatment through forms of rest, exercise, modalities, and otherindicated interventions.
