Overview
A leading US law firm is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Attorney to join its Chicago office. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, complex transactions with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity matters.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on public and private M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
Represent private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a variety of transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and other related contracts.
Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to support clients in multi-jurisdictional deals.
Provide ongoing strategic legal advice to corporate clients.
Candidate Profile
Juris Doctor (JD) from a top law school.
Admitted to practice in Illinois.
Class years .
Strong background in M&A and private equity transactions.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
