Overview
Custom Protective Services in Connecticut is looking for qualified Security Officers. To maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Responsibilities
Patrol premises and monitor surveillance equipment; inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; control entry to facilities.
Sound alarms to obtain help when needed.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain trespassers as required.
Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses; obtain signatures.
Maintain environment by monitoring and controlling building and equipment systems.
Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Current Connecticut Security License.
Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and typing.
High school Diploma / GED.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Type
Full-time. Pay: From $16.50 per hour.
