Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Department Director, the day‑to‑day supervision of the Lead Technologist and/or Manager and in close collaboration with the Radiologists, the CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards utilizing age‑specific criteria. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities. Serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists. Participates in call scheduling and remains flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs of the department.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist license.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification.
Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT).
Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography (ARRT).
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans.
Benefits & Compensation
Base salary range: $46.60 – $68.71 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and additional shift incentives. A $7,500 hiring bonus may be offered to eligible external hires who meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
