Job description
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to perform computed tomography examinations following physicians’ orders, utilizing advanced imaging equipment while considering individual patient needs. Key responsibilities include producing high-quality images through proper imaging techniques and judgment, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires meeting certification, licensing, and registration standards, including Oregon Medical Imaging License and certifications from recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine boards, with some certifications to be obtained within specified periods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Relevant education and licensure
National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association
Experience with CT imaging and knowledge of patient care
Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and patient communication skills
Key Duties:
Perform CT scans accurately per physician orders
Ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
Utilize sophisticated imaging technology and techniques
Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements
Work collaboratively within a healthcare team in a patient-centered environment
