Job description
Custodian PositionFounded in 1967, ImageFIRST® is the largest and only national linen rental and laundry service specializing in the healthcare market. Acquired by private equity firm Calera Capital in 2018, ImageFIRST serves medical facilities nationwide providing linen, patient gowns, scrubs, and more while managing their clients' linen inventory for cost management. With one of the highest customer retention rates in the industry – 97% – ImageFIRST is dedicated to improving patient satisfaction and making staff happy with our white glove service!The Custodian will be responsible for the maintenance of the facility or plant, and will provide assistance where needed.Pay Rate: $18 an hourSchedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pmEssential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming themGather and empty trashService, clean, and supply restroomsDust furniture, walls, machines, and equipmentProvide light maintenance to equipmentMove product as needed to facilitate production processesDaily equipment upkeep/safety inspectionsKeep production area & facilities clean and neatPerform basic routine maintenance on equipmentPerform basic routine upkeep on facilitiesResponsible for communicating with other departments to assist with productionAssociate will be crossed trained in multiple areas to help as neededMinimum qualifications:High School Diploma or its equivalentMust be comfortable working around chemicals and other cleaning productsMust have basic maintenance skillsMust be comfortable working independentlyMust be self-motivated, able to complete a task to the best of her ability under little or no supervisionPhysical requirements:Ability to lift up to 30 pounds requiredWorking conditions are normal for a manufacturing environmentWork involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 poundsMachinery and tool operation require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats; loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permittedRequired competencies:Be Respectful: Value all we come in contact withBe Remarkable: Create a positive moment with every interactionBe Safe: Keep ourselves and those around us safeBe Honest: Be guided by truthfulness in all we doBenefits:Weekly payMedical, Dental, VisionPet, Legal, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance401k (match)Paid Time Off PackagePaid Parental LeaveTuition ReimbursementReferral ProgramGreat company cultureCollaborative team environmentEOE / Drug-Free WorkplaceWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
