Hybrid Billing Specialist – State Farm Agent Team MemberThis position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and can approach sensitive billing conversations with professionalism and empathy. You will not spend your day quietly working behind a stack of paperwork. You will connect with customers, answer questions, solve problems, and help people get their accounts back on track.What You'll DoMake outbound calls regarding past-due payments and account balancesAnswer incoming customer billing callsExplain billing statements, payment schedules, balances, and account activityProcess payments and document customer interactions accuratelyFollow up on unresolved billing concerns and outstanding balancesAssist customers with account updates and general service questionsWork with the agency team to resolve billing or policy-related concernsMaintain accurate records in agency systemsComplete additional customer service and administrative responsibilities as neededWhat We're Looking ForComfortable making outbound payment and follow-up callsFriendly but firm when discussing sensitive financial mattersClear written and verbal communication skillsStrong listening, problem-solving, and customer service abilitiesOrganized, dependable, and attentive to detailAble to manage multiple priorities with limited supervisionComfortable learning new technology and account-management systemsPrevious billing, collections, customer service, banking, or insurance experience is preferredState Farm or insurance experience is a plus but not requiredRemote-Work RequirementsA reliable high-speed internet connectionA quiet, professional workspace free from distractionsAbility to remain responsive and available during scheduled working hoursStrong time-management skills and the discipline to work independentlyAbility to protect confidential customer and financial informationWhat You Can Expect From Us Our agency is high-performing, team-oriented, and focused on doing the right thing for our customers.
