Job description
ACD Distribution is a leading distributor of toys and games, dedicated to providing exceptional service to our retail clients. Join our team in Middleton, WI as a Sales Consultant supporting our International, Third‑Party Internet (3PI), and other assigned accounts. In this role, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned clients, ensuring a positive and efficient experience while helping them navigate ACD’s processes and get their orders handled accurately and on time.
Overall Responsibilities
Serve as the day‑to‑day contact for international, 3PI, and other assigned accounts, providing guidance and support as they work with ACD.
Respond to client inquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
Take and process client orders accurately and efficiently.
Onboard new clients, training them on ACD processes, procedures, and available services.
Research and resolve client issues, including backorders, shipping discrepancies, and returns, working with internal teams as needed.
Coordinate with ACD warehouse and fulfillment teams to ensure orders are submitted correctly and shipped on time.
Maintain accurate client records in our CRM and related systems.
Share information about new releases, promotions, and pre‑order opportunities, and up‑sell or cross‑sell products according to company guidelines.
Continue to build product knowledge and familiarity with the platforms and channels relevant to assigned accounts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least two years of customer service experience.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and phone etiquette) with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Experience with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with hobby games or toy industry products preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements & Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment.
Occasional order picking may be required during high‑volume periods in the warehouse.
Compensation
Base: $20.00 per hour.
