LILA has three school buildings that all operate with the city of Forest Lake, MN.Job Summary:Provide a safe, clean facility for students, staff, and visitors at LILA. Performs work cleaning and maintaining school building interiors and exteriors, and related work as apparent or assigned. Responsibilities include routine and project cleaning, basic maintenance, snow removal, security and other duties.Essential Functions:Wash down bathrooms using appropriate cleaning materials and detergentsMixture and disposal of cleaning materials in a safe and secure mannerVacuum and shampoo carpets; scrub, wax, and strip floors of all facilitiesOperate power tools as neededRepair furniture including chairs, desks and tablesRestock supplies in bathrooms and other areas as neededProperly dispose of all trash from all areas of the schoolClean and disinfect cafeteria sinks and clean drinking fountainsHandle minor repair and maintenance activities such as bulb replacement and floor buffingShovel snow and salt sidewalksQualifications:Experience Preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidateBasic Computer SkillsAbility to travel between worksitesPreferred Qualifications:Spanish or Mandarin language proficiencyPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
