Job description
DeburrerThe Deburring Finisher is responsible for removing sharp edges and preparing uniform finishes on machined parts with sanders, grinders, and specified hand tools.ResponsibilitiesPerform deburring operations on a variety of precision parts, including complex components, while maintaining quality and production standards.Select appropriate deburring methods and tools to meet finish specifications and production requirements.Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, routings, and travelers.Utilize hand tools and deburring equipment to ensure all parts meet quality expectations.Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.Accurately complete production documentation and shop floor data collection.Follow all Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and safety procedures.Collaborate effectively with team members and assist with additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsDeburringPolishingGrindingBlueprint ReadingHand & Power Tool OperationQuality InspectionManufacturing ProcessesProblem SolvingLean ManufacturingDocumentation & Data EntryAttention to DetailWorkplace SafetyMetal FinishingAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to interpret and apply technical instructionsWhy Work Here?For nearly 40 years, the organization has been guided by unwavering principles. The workplace is committed to maintaining high standards of safety and organization.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
