Dental AssistantFL, Lake Butler - Reception & Medical Center Main - Lake Butler, FL 32054Position Type Full-Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Diploma/GED Travel Percentage None Category Dental Hygienist & Dental AssistantCenturion is proud to be the provider of dental services to the Florida Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Reception and Medical Center located in Lake Butler, Florida (Union County). * 32054 zip codeThe Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision, assisting the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting. Additional responsibilities include preparing and sterilizing dental instruments, preparing and maintaining the dental operatory, operating radiographic equipment, and additional administrative tasks as needed.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredCompletion of a technical school program in dental assisting or 12 months of experience as a Dental Assistant requiredCertified Dental Assistant license and/or Expanded Dental Assistant Certificate or ability to obtain one required within first 6 months of employmentFlorida Radiograph Certificate, or ability to obtain one required within the first 6 months of employmentPurified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation preferred, or willing to obtain one upon hireCertified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or willing to obtain one upon hireAbility to pass a security clearance, to include drug screen and complete criminal background check6am-2:30pm, Monday-FridayWe offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...
