Job description
Stanford University seeks the MEC Department Head for LCLS to shape the high energy-density science program, align research with national and DOE objectives, and coordinate with LCLS and SLAC leadership to guide facility development and user engagement.
You will lead scientists and staff, drive strategic objectives, and ensure robust operations of MEC instruments and experiments, while mentoring the next generation of researchers and fostering collaborations across national labs and universities.
