Direct Support ProfessionalMinn Care Home Health is looking for Direct Support Professional for our Assisted Living homes:Monday through Thursday and every other weekend Starting at $18/hrMinn Care Home Health provides home care services to adults with developmental and mental disabilities, and those in need of medical care after hospital discharge. The Direct Support Professional will perform direct client cares ordered by the client's physician and as documented in the client's care plan.Main ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with personal care: dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, transferring, positioning, mobility.Housekeeping: cleaning all living areas, making the bed, dishes, laundry, taking out the garbage.Monitor and re-direct client behaviors to ensure their safety.Meal planning and preparation.Medications: ordering, administration and monitoring.Arrange client transportation.Assist clients in getting around and participating in the community.Assist clients in managing their finances.RequirementsMust pass the Department of Human Services background checkMust be reliable and have a strong work ethicFluent in English and have good communication skillsMust show compassion and empathy to clientsMust have a driver's licenseBenefitsPaid Time Off401K contribution and matchingEmployee Bonuses
