What You’ll Do:

The Director, Energy Operations is responsible for enterprise scheduling, subcontractor coordination, process standardization, and performance analytics across the Energy portfolio. This role establishes consistent planning practices, supports project and dry dock execution, coordinates procurement and subcontractor activities, operational excellence, and provides data-driven insights to improve operational visibility, portfolio performance, and P&L support.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Lead enterprise scheduling for all Energy projects, dry docks, maintenance events, and operational initiatives across the Energy portfolio.

Develop, maintain, and govern integrated schedules, budgets, planning calendars, milestones, critical path activities, constraints, risks, and dependencies.

Coordinate subcontractor engagement, vendor readiness, procurement timelines, scope alignment, and service delivery requirements in partnership with internal stakeholders.

Monitor subcontractor performance against schedule commitments, service expectations, issue resolution, and escalation requirements.

Standardize practices, tools, workflows, governance routines, reporting cadence, and process improvement methods across assigned portfolio activities.

Lead Process Improvement efforts with business units within Energy Division to improve KPI performance and overall business function.

Partner with P&L leaders to support operating cadence, planning discipline, resource utilization, cost awareness, and performance visibility.

Develop and maintain KPIs, analytics, dashboards, benchmarking methods, and reporting tools to measure schedule performance, subcontractor effectiveness, process compliance, productivity, and portfolio outcomes.

Analyze performance trends, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions or process improvements to support execution and business performance.

Prepare portfolio updates, performance summaries, decision support materials, and executive-level reporting for senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience

8+ years of relevant experience in project scheduling, project controls, operations planning, dry dock planning, subcontractor coordination, procurement coordination, process improvement, business analytics, portfolio management, or a related field.

Experience in marine, energy, industrial, logistics, maintenance, construction, or asset-intensive operations is preferred.

Experience standardizing processes, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, managing vendor or subcontractor interfaces, developing performance reporting, tracking KPIs, and translating data into business insights is required.

Education & Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field is required. Advanced degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.

Equivalent combination of post-secondary education and directly related experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.

Technical Proficiencies:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling, project controls, analytics, dashboarding, document management, and collaboration tools is required. Working knowledge of scheduling practices, critical path management, procurement workflows, subcontractor performance tracking, process mapping, operational reporting, variance analysis, and continuous improvement methods is required. Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, ERP systems, procurement platforms, and maintenance or asset management systems is preferred.

Ability to travel as needed.

Position Location - Seattle/Hybrid

Salary Range is: $165,000 to $230,000

*Pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
