Job description
Director of Nursing (DON) Full-Time | $100,000-$115,000 per year
A skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department and ensure high-quality resident care.
Responsibilities
Direct the overall operation of the nursing department
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
Ensure accurate nursing documentation and conduct regular chart audits
Participate in care planning, resident assessments, and discharge planning
Lead and support nursing staff while maintaining regulatory compliance
Qualifications
Active RN license
Previous nursing supervisory or management experience
Skilled nursing/long-term care experience required
Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
