Role Description
The District Manager role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, South Carolina area. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple retail locations, ensuring stores meet sales targets, operational standards, and customer experience goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and developing Store Managers, monitoring key performance indicators, and implementing sales and marketing initiatives in alignment with company strategy. The District Manager will conduct regular store visits, assess compliance with policies and procedures, manage staffing needs, and support hiring, onboarding, and performance management activities. This role also collaborates with senior leadership to analyze market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and execute local strategies that drive revenue and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience in multi‑unit retail management, district or regional leadership, or an equivalent supervisory role.
Strong skills in sales leadership, performance management, and goal setting for store teams.
Ability to coach, mentor, and develop managers and frontline staff to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.
Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, scheduling, merchandising, and loss prevention.
Experience in wireless, telecommunications, or consumer electronics retail is highly beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with proficiency in interpreting sales reports and operational metrics.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
Comfort with using point‑of‑sale systems and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email).
Ability to travel regularly within the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson area to visit stores and support teams on-site.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
