Domestic Operations Agent (Full-Time)Location: Elk Grove, Illinois, USA Airport: ORDCavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time Domestic Operations Agent to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who can offer a high standard of accuracy and customer service to fulfill the client shipping needs. The ideal candidate will assist our customers in every aspect of their shipment from pickup to delivery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Represent the company in a professional and ethical mannerImpeccable customer serviceAccommodate clients' freight routing needsPerform cost analysis of services provided by different vendorsSchedule pick-up and delivery of cargoPreparing and/or proofreading all associated documentsProviding proof of delivery to customersShare on-call duties with other department membersWork closely with other departments (export/import) to deliver high level of service to customersPerform other duties that may be assignedRequirements:Strong customer service skills a mustWilling and able to learn new tasks with training providedGood verbal and written communication skillsBi-lingual a plusStrong PC skills including Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work with demanding deadlinesAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamMust be detail oriented, thorough, accurate, and solve problems efficientlyMust be able to pass a background checkEducation:Minimum High School Diploma or GEDIndustry Experience:Industry experience a plus, one-year experience preferredBenefits & Compensation:Competitive Compensation – Depends on ExperienceHealth InsuranceDental & Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Employee Assistance ProgramIf you enjoy a fast paced environment, are a self-starter, have great organizational skills and are a team player - apply for this great position today.
