Job Description

What if your everyday work had the profound ability to assist someone in taking those first crucial steps after surgery, reclaim independence after experiencing a stroke, or regain their voice after facing an illness? As a trusted Physical Therapist, you won't merely promote healing — you'll restore dignity, momentum, and instill hope in life's most delicate moments. And the scenery? It's a realm that redefines the essence of living, working, and rejuvenating. We are in search of a compassionate and highly skilled Physical Therapist to become an integral member of our team in Long Beach, California — a lively coastal city where professional satisfaction blends seamlessly with an invigorating lifestyle. Here, clinical excellence is paired with a community that embraces and inspires. If you are poised to create a meaningful impact from the inside out, this is your moment to shine. Your journey here will be anything but mundane. You will evaluate patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings, crafting individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. You will implement physical therapy interventions with a keen focus on mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. You will work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals, pooling your expertise to optimize therapeutic outcomes. In this role, educating patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens will be paramount. As you meticulously document evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with guidelines, you will also take part in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure a seamless continuity of care. To embark on this fulfilling journey, you will need a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required, and while specialized certifications (such as those in neurological or geriatric care) are advantageous, they are not a prerequisite. Your background speaks of previous experience in the field, along with a capacity to treat patients with intricately complex medical and mobility issues. Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities are indispensable. Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems will also enhance your ability to thrive in this role. In return for your skills and compassion, we offer a competitive compensation package inclusive of comprehensive benefits, such as health, dental, and vision insurance, alongside opportunities for continuing education and licensure reimbursement. Enjoy paid time off and flexible schedules, all while being part of a supportive team culture that encourages clinical advancement. Every day presents new challenges, and each interaction is meaningful. You will be a trusted guide during the early stages of recovery, whether supporting someone in regaining their balance post-surgery or assisting in the arduous journey toward rehabilitation after a stroke. This role embodies hands-on, high-touch work where clinical knowledge interweaves with heartfelt care. You'll assess patient needs, implement targeted treatment strategies, and modify care plans as individuals make progress. As a member of a collaborative care team, your input will be crucial in discharge planning and facilitating safe transitions back home. With precision and presence as key components of this role, the rewards are immeasurable. Your impact is felt immediately, and the care you provide can change lives for the better. We are searching for someone who is more than a mere list of qualifications. You understand that movement is akin to medicine, that kindness possesses immense strength, and that progress is measured in various forms — from merely standing to vigorously walking again. We invite passionate physical therapists, whether you're just beginning your career or bring years of experience, to join our team. If you cherish evidence-based care, collaboration, and human connection, you're the person we want to meet. This isn't just a role; it's a calling — a path where your expertise converges with purpose and your presence enacts real change. Step into the world of a Physical Therapist in Long Beach, California, surrounded by passionate clinicians, a dynamic work culture, and a city that infuses energy into your daily routine. We're excited about the potential to help you grow your career, enhance your skill set, and rediscover the delight of engaging in work that truly makes a difference. Come be part of a team — and a vibrant community — that is dedicated to motion in every sense of the word.
