Job Summary:
Tenability LLC is seeking an experienced Elevator Mechanic / Site Safety Supervisor for active multi-family / public housing elevator construction and modernization projects in the Bronx. The ideal candidate will oversee site safety compliance while performing and supervising hands-on mechanical work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform elevator installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization tasks on site.
Serve as the Site Safety Lead, ensuring strict adherence to NYC DOB, OSHA, and project safety standards.
Conduct daily safety walkthroughs, toolbox talks, and maintain jobsite safety logs.
Coordinate with project management and prime contractors regarding progress and compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active NYC Site Safety Training (SST) Supervisor Card (62-Hour preferred or equivalent required).
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certificate.
Proven hands-on experience as an Elevator Mechanic on commercial or public housing (NYCHA) projects.
Valid NYC Elevator Agency Inspector or Mechanic Credentials (if applicable).
Strong leadership, communication, and site management skills.
