As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven culture.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $26.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and maintaining accurate incident documentation.Maintain required qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, and applicable regulations.Minimum Requirements:Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
