We are seeking all levels of EMT/B/A/P to join our team at Lifecare, an industry leader in EMS transport services to meet our dialysis and transport needs. We are looking for self-starting EMTs who believe in treating every patient equally, have a high standard of professionalism, can problem solve, and understand team dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, prioritizing their comfort and well-being throughout the journey
Communicate effectively with facility staff to coordinate patient care
Monitor patients' condition during transportation
Provide patient care within your scope of practice
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Keep accurate records of transportation details and medical information
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for seamless patient care

Requirements
Valid EMT certification/license
Proficient knowledge of medical protocols and emergency procedures
Patient-focused with excellent communication skills
Ability to remain composed, professional, and empathetic
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Active CPR certification
Essential Functions
Frequently lift patients with assistance
Stand for long periods
Use hands and wrists for grip, grasp, and twist
Lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly
Climb stairs during shifts
Wear proper safety equipment
Effectively use all job-related materials and equipment
Occasionally lift up to 400 lbs with assistance
