Certifications Needed: ACLS; ATLS; PALS
Patient Population/Case Load: Approximately 25 patients per shift
Case Mix: Outpatient Emergency Department, Trauma Level 3
Department Details: 10 beds in the department with an L&D department on-site (newborn deliveries are not received in the ED)
24/7 Support Services: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology
Support Staff: 3 RNs, 2 MAs, and 1 PA/NP
Supervision: Provider will be required to supervise Advance Practice Providers (No resident or teaching supervision required)
Trauma Level: Level 3
EMR in Use: MEDHOST
Licensing and Privileging License: An active Alabama state license is required.
Willing to License: No
Estimated Privileging Timeline: 30 days
