North Central Baptist Hospital features separate adult and pediatric Emergency Departments to meet the needs of the San Antonio community and surrounding areas. Ranked a U.S. News and World Report Best Hospital in , and most recently ranked by the same agency as the #1 Hospital System in San Antonio in 2023, North Central Baptist Hospital prides itself on providing top-tier care for patients. The hospital offers extraordinary Cardiovascular and Labor & Delivery programs, with emergent PCI and OB services available on-site. Clinicians enjoy a simple "one call" system for admissions and transfers and NPs and PAs practice independently in the ED, meaning Physicians have no APP charts to sign.
