TeamHealth is seeking a compassionate, adaptable emergency medicine physician to join our Western New York and Buffalo HIT Team. This regional travel position gives you the opportunity to maintain your NYC home base while earning the higher compensation associated with a travel role, all without leaving New York state.
You’ll travel regionally to provide emergency medicine coverage at six hospitals across Western and Central New York:
Mercy Hospital of Buffalo
Mercy Ambulatory Care Center
Sisters of Charity Hospital
Sisters of Charity Hospital St. Joseph Campus
Kenmore Mercy Hospital
Rome Hospital

From Buffalo’s revitalized waterfront and Niagara Falls to the scenic Mohawk Valley, this position offers a chance to see more of New York while increasing your professional and financial opportunities. This role is ideal for an emergency medicine physician who is comfortable traveling, adapts quickly, values teamwork, and wants more from each clinical shift. If you are a board-certified or board-eligible EM physician or a primary care trained physician with extensive EM experience.
Competitive compensation, with an estimated base salary range of $280 to $280 hourly. This is an independent contractor position.
