Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Associate Attorney in Palo Alto, California. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in emerging companies and venture capital work, with a focus on start-ups and emerging growth companies.
Duties
Advise start-ups and emerging growth companies on seed and venture capital financings.
Conduct venture financings using NVCA documents.
Manage domestic M&A transactions for startup companies and investors.
Maintain and develop client and counsel relationships.
Requirements
4-6 years of experience in emerging companies and venture capital work.
Experience with start-ups, seed and venture capital financings, and public offerings.
Proactive with strong business sense and communication skills.
Admitted to the state bar or eligible to waive in.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
State Bar admission.
Skills
Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills.
Strong work ethic and team player attitude.
Ability to communicate complex matters effectively.
