Endoscopy RN - 13-Week Contract
Houston, TX | Day Shift | No Call
Pulse Staffing is seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN for a 13-week contract assignment in Houston, Texas.
Start Date: September 28 - MUST be available to start on this date
Schedule: Days | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM | 8-hour shifts
13-Week Contract
No On-Call Required
Thanksgiving & Christmas Day OFF
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Endoscopy RN who is confident working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume procedural environment.
Job Requirements
What You'll Be Doing
The Endoscopy RN will support diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures and should be comfortable independently circulating both routine and advanced cases.
Responsibilities include:
Circulating endoscopy procedures
Supporting Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and EUS procedures
Moderate sedation monitoring
Pre- and post-procedure patient care and recovery
Procedural documentation
Specimen management
Responding appropriately during urgent and emergent GI cases
Collaborating with physicians, anesthesia providers, technicians, and nursing staff
Supporting safe and efficient patient flow in a high-volume procedural setting
REQUIRED Qualifications
Candidates must meet ALL of the following: Current Texas RN License or Compact RN License
Current AHA BLS
Current AHA ACLS
Minimum 3 years of recent, relevant RN experience
Recent Endoscopy experience
Experience with Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and EUS procedures
Ability to independently circulate endoscopic procedures
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Epic experience preferred.
